Inon’s music for PRINCE OF PERSIA has been nominated for the 7th Annual Game Audio Network Guild Awards:
Best Original Instrumental – “Healed Land” – Prince of Persia
Best Original Vocal – Choral – “Menu Theme” – Prince of Persia.
Inon’s score for FALLOUT 3 is nominated for Best Original Score in the BAFTA Games Awards.

Sequel to Sally Stevens’ successful photo series captures movie music moments. The exhibit includes an image of composer Inon Zur during the the scoring of the electronic game PRINCE OF PERSIA, a first in this medium for Stevens.
The exhibit is presented in association with Frank’s Custom Lab, and is curated by Angela Cartwright. A Studio Gallery is located at 4260 Lankershim Blvd. Hours are Monday through Thursday 9 AM-4 PM, Friday 9 AM-12 PM, or by appointment.

Ubisoft announced that those who pre-order the new PRINCE OF PERSIA title in North America will receive a free upgraded Limited Edition version of the game which includes the original soundtrack composed by Inon Zur.
“From the moment you hear [‘Fallout 3 Main Title’] opening dissonance, you will picture scenes of post-apocalyptic devastation…The second number from Inon Zur is a very low key, atmospheric number called ‘Megaton.’ Discordant string and percussion instruments play off each other as a harmonica fills in a baleful melody.”
Inon’s music from CRYSIS makes its world premiere on August 20, 2008 at the 7,000 seat Leipzig Arena in Leipzig, Germany during the world renowned Games Convention.
A powerful arrangement of tracks from the score will be featured for the first time and synchronized to exclusive video footage and state-of-the-art lighting and special effects.

GameStop is offering a FALLOUT 3 Soundtrack Sampler CD for those who pre-order any edition of the game. The CD includes 2 original compositions by Inon (“Fallout 3 Main Title” and “Megaton”) as well as 3 songs licensed from the 1940’s. Images of the CD sleeve designs are available at Bethesda Blog.
Inon’s soundtrack for CRYSIS is featured in June ‘08 issue of GAME INFORMER Magazine. Here’s an excerpt from the article:

Bethesda Softworks announces that Inon has created the original musical score for their highly anticipated post-apocalyptic video game, Fallout 3.
“We’ve wanted to work with Inon for a long time, said Todd Howard executive producer of Fallout 3. He brings so much to the table, in terms of his talent, background, and the music thats influenced him. Hes created a score that has epic sweep; from the lonely ambience of the wasteland to dramatic fights for survival.”
